The Nakanbé Water Agency is composed of various management and administrative bodies and plays a leading role in the implementation of actions to protect and conserve water resources in the region. management of Nakanbé. The Basin Committee (CB)
Consisting of three colleges of members appointed on a parity basis, representing the State (14), local authorities (14) and users (14). The Basin Committee is the General Assembly of the Agency and meets once a year, in ordinary session. He is in charge of the implementation of the National Water Policy in the concerned management area through the SDAGE and the SAGE. The CB’s field of competence is:

The Board of Directors (CA)
The Board is the executive body of the Basin Committee of the Agency and meets twice a year, in ordinary session. Like the BC, the Board of Directors is made up of members representing the State (14), local authorities (14), users (14) and Agency staff (01). It is responsible for implementing the guidelines defined by the Basin Committee through the multi-year intervention programs and the smooth running of the Nakanbé Water Agency. The CA’s field of competence is:

The General Direction of the Nakanbé Water Agency (DGAEN)
The General Management of the Nakanbé Water Agency ensures the functioning of the Agency under the authority of the Board of Directors and under the conditions set by the Basin Committee. It is composed of technical and financial departments (see chart below).
Les Comités Locaux de l’eau (CLE)
Ce sont des instances locales de concertation, d’échanges, d’animation et de promotion associant tous les acteurs concernés au niveau local, pour la gestion des ressources en eau. Les CLE sont les maillons de base de la gestion intégrée des ressources en eau à l’échelle du sous bassin. Répondant local de l’Agence de l’Eau dont il relève, le CLE ne bénéficie pas de personnalité juridique et est sous la tutelle technique et financière de l’Agences de l’eau dont il relève. Les espaces de gestion des CLE correspondent aux sous-bassins ou portions de sous-bassins hydrographiques qui structurent l’espace de compétence de l’Agence de l’Eau du Nakanbé.
